Terms of Service

Scope of Services

Creative Space Counselling provides a range of services that fall within the domains of counselling and creative arts therapy. Creative Space Counselling should not be expected to operate or advise outside of these professional areas of expertise.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible to use our services, clients must be 18 years of age or above, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Potential clients of any age must disclose any criminal history relevant to the negative treatment of others, prior to interacting with our services.

 

Fees and Payment

Full payment is due at the time of service, you may also be asked to pay at the time of booking to hold your appointment. Written reports will be invoiced on completion.

 

Missed and Late Appointments

If a client misses an appointment without any notification they will be charged at 50% of the full fee. If a client is late for an appointment the full appointment fee will still be charged and the time missed will not be reallocated.

 

Cancellation of Appointments

If the client needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, they must allow a minimum of 48 business hours’ notice (prior to 9.00 am at least two business days before your appointment) otherwise a cancellation fee of 50% of the service fee will be incurred.

 

Confidentiality

Creative Space Counselling are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of clients’ personal and therapeutic information.

It is good-practice for wellbeing practitioners to discuss client information with their colleagues and supervisors, these individuals are also required to keep client information confidential. By using our services clients are agreeing to the sharing of information for professional purposes as outlined above unless otherwise negotiated.

Other than for professional reasons, we will not disclose client information without direct permission from the client, unless required by law, or if the client is at risk of harm, or at risk of harming others.

Where appropriate, we may ask clients’ permission to discuss their information with other professionals who have, are currently, or will be, working with them. This would be done with the purpose of providing an effective multi-disciplinary approach.

 

Appropriate Conduct

By using our services all clients agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and law-abiding manner, to respond respectfully to instructions, to show kindness and consideration to others, and in no way degrade or belittle others.
By accessing our services, the client also agrees to make restitution for any harm caused to property, service providers and/or other clients, if a breach of our Appropriate Conduct terms were to occur.

 

Termination of Services

Clients are free to terminate our services at any time. Creative Space Counselling reserves the right to terminate services if we determine that our services are not appropriate for the needs of the client, or if the client fails to follow our terms and conditions or appropriate conduct recommendations.

 

Disclaimer

Our services are not a substitute for medical treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. We make no guarantees or warranties about the effectiveness of our services.

 

Changes to Terms of Service

Creative Space Counselling reserves the right to update our Terms of Service at any time. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.

 

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in Victoria, Australia, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these Terms of Service and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our services.

 

Privacy

Google Analytics:

We gather traffic data through Google Analytics in order to improve our website.

Please note that this data is stored on Google servers, not on our site. Google compiles demographic data, so we cannot distinguish specific individuals.

If you wish to decline this data collection, you can choose to reject cookies when prompted or clear your cookies altogether.
