Individual Sessions

During individual sessions, the client will be provided with an intake form before their first appointment.

The intake form will ask simple questions from which the therapist will co-create a therapeutic plan to meet the needs of the client.

This is a working document that can be changed at anytime, depending on the clients goals and outcomes.

There is no set period for how many sessions are needed. Clients may start weekly and can move to fortnightly or monthly over time.

Sessions take place in the counselling room, which is a warm and welcoming space. All the art materials are provided but there is no expectation to be ‘making’ or ‘creating’.

We may use a mixure of appraoches throughout the session and this can vary from week to week. Artwork can either be taken home or left within the care of the practitioner.

All artwork held is strictly treated as private and confidential.

Please note that when working with children the first appointment must be held with the primary care giver.
